* */*: Simply future removal of GNU_CONFIGURE_MANPREFIXEmanuel Haupt2024-01-211-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Simplify the future removal of GNU_CONFIGURE_MANPREFIX after the manprefix migration is complete. The current placement of GNU_CONFIGURE_MANPREFIX will not result in consecutive blank lines or comments when lines containing GNU_CONFIGURE_MANPREFIX are removed in batches. Notified by: mat

* Remove WWW entries moved into port MakefilesStefan Eßer2022-09-071-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on WWW: lines in pkg-descr files. This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these pkg-descr files. Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)
* Add WWW entries to port MakefilesStefan Eßer2022-09-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources. Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the port specific URL to further information. There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time. This commit implements such a proposal and moves one of the WWW: entries of each pkg-descr file into the respective port's Makefile. A heuristic attempts to identify the most relevant URL in case there is more than one WWW: entry in some pkg-descr file. URLs that are not moved into the Makefile are prefixed with "See also:" instead of "WWW:" in the pkg-descr files in order to preserve them. There are 1256 ports that had no WWW: entries in pkg-descr files. These ports will not be touched in this commit. The portlint port has been adjusted to expect a WWW entry in each port Makefile, and to flag any remaining "WWW:" lines in pkg-descr files as deprecated. Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)

* Update ilmbase and openexr to 2.3.0, rename OpenEXR to openexr.Matthias Andree2018-09-221-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Release notes: <https://github.com/openexr/openexr/releases/tag/v2.3.0> Adjust LIB_DEPENDS of all ports that require ilmbase or openexr to chase the new lower-case spelling of the name, and to omit the version from the library name to ease future maintenance. Bump PORTREVISION of all ports that depend on ilmbase or openexr directly, so that they all get rebuilt on upgrades. Add patches to graphics/ampasCTL to keep it alive, with (a) ilmbase now that its Iex::BaseExc class is no longer derived from std::string, details were given upstream through https://github.com/ampas/CTL/issues/71 and (b) to unwind semicolon/;-lists in cmake that stem from openexr/ ilmbase pkg-config variables. (Note ampasCTL is unmaintained as FreeBSD port, and upstream, and I cannot run-time test it.) Poudriere build tests on 11.2-RELEASE-p1 amd64 of ALL ports depending directly or indirectly on ilmbase and/or openexr have passed without regressions. Thus invoking due diligence, I believe I have done the equivalent of an -exp run, and do not require approval for the dependency chases to third-party ports. Notes: svn path=/head/; revision=480374
* Security update OpenEXR and ilmbase to 2.2.1.Matthias Andree2017-12-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | While here, fix libIlmImfUtil_la_LDFLAGp so that when linking libIlmImfUtil, the locally built libIlmImf gets precedence over the one in /usr/local, to permit upgrades in a running system with the older version installed. This changes the library's SONAME, so bump PORTREVISION of all dependees. Unfortunately, this looks a bit too intrusive for an MFH to 2017Q4. * Upgrade OpenEXR and ilmbase to 2.2.0.Matthias Andree2014-08-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | GCC 4.2 in FreeBSD 8.X/9.X base is now too old to compile OpenEXR, so GCC-based systems will upgrade to the default ports compiler (GCC 4.7 currently.) Add two patches to OpenEXR to permit building it in a live system with the older OpenEXR version installed. Bug report filed to upstream Github at https://github.com/openexr/openexr/issues/130 Couple OpenEXR more tightly to ilmbase and require its exact .so version. Add UPDATING note, and bump PORTREVISION of all dependent ports. Proto-STAGE hugin-devel, and mark it IGNORE because hugin is newer.
