o To use your setting value at each time of starting of Xserver,
  you have to run gsynaptics-init at starting time of Xserver.

  GNOME users,
    you have to add gsynaptics-init on [Desktop] - [Preferences]
    - [Sessions] - [Startup Programs] in GNOME Menu.

  non GNOME users,
    you have to add gsynaptics-init in .xinitrc or
    .xsession.
