Also (or to begin with), Network Dictionary Transfer Protocol 
server is mandatory.  You can use either:
dserver:	ports/japanese/dserver, ja-dserver-2.2.2_1 and later
ndtpd:		ports/japanese/ndtpd,	ja-ndtpd-2.3.3 and later
