2022-09-07Remove WWW entries moved into port MakefilesStefan Eßer1-2/+0
Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on WWW: lines in pkg-descr files. This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these pkg-descr files. Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)
2022-09-07Add WWW entries to port MakefilesStefan Eßer1-0/+1
It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources. Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the port specific URL to further information. There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time. This commit implements such a proposal and moves one of the WWW: entries of each pkg-descr file into the respective port's Makefile. A heuristic attempts to identify the most relevant URL in case there is more than one WWW: entry in some pkg-descr file. URLs that are not moved into the Makefile are prefixed with "See also:" instead of "WWW:" in the pkg-descr files in order to preserve them. There are 1256 ports that had no WWW: entries in pkg-descr files. These ports will not be touched in this commit. The portlint port has been adjusted to expect a WWW entry in each port Makefile, and to flag any remaining "WWW:" lines in pkg-descr files as deprecated. Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)

2021-04-06Remove # $FreeBSD$ from Makefiles.Mathieu Arnold1-1/+0
2019-12-20Additional builds with with src r354909 applied.Brooks Davis1-1/+1
The referenced change made NO_INSTALLLIB, NO_MAN, and NO_PROFILE into errors causing these ports that declare them and use the FreeBSD make infrastructure as part of their build to fail. When the offending variables occur in a BSD Makefile, NO_MAN becomes MAN= and NO_INSTALLLIB and NO_PROFILE become MK_INSTALLLIB=no and MK_PROFILE=no respectively. When declared in the environment they become WITHOUT_<FOO>. Also GC NO_MANCOMPRESSED which doesn't do anything. In the case of devel/libpasori, this change accomplished the same thing as the change in r518434, but more directly (fix the Makefiles rather than patching them after they are installed). 2014-11-29Split devel/gettext in devel/gettext-runtime and devel/gettext-tools. TheTijl Coosemans1-7/+5
first contains runtime libraries such as libintl and the latter contains developer tools such as msgfmt. Ports that use gettext will usually need a LIB_DEPENDS on gettext-runtime and a BUILD_DEPENDS on gettext-tools. USES=gettext-runtime can be used to set a LIB/BUILD/RUN_DEPENDS on devel/gettext-runtime and USES=gettext-tools can be used to set a BUILD/RUN_DEPENDS on devel/gettext-tools. USES=gettext is now the same as "USES=gettext-runtime gettext-tools" meaning a LIB_DEPENDS on devel/gettext-runtime and a BUILD_DEPENDS on devel/gettext-tools. Update gettext to 0.19.3. Remove :oldver from converters/libiconv and devel/gettext-runtime. Leave symlinks with the old library versions to avoid the need to bump PORTREVISION on a large number of dependent ports. When most of the dependent ports have had normal version updates, PORTREVISION can be bumped on the remaining ones (low number) and the links can be removed. Fix some ports that installed files in lib/locale instead of share/locale. PR: 194038 Reviewed by: bapt Exp-run: antoine Approved by: portmgr (antoine) Notes: svn path=/head/; revision=373636

2008-08-21Update CONFIGURE_ARGS for how we pass CONFIGURE_TARGET to configure script.Rong-En Fan1-1/+0
Specifically, newer autoconf (> 2.13) has different semantic of the configure target. In short, one should use --build=CONFIGURE_TARGET instead of CONFIGURE_TARGET directly. Otherwise, you will get a warning and the old semantic may be removed in later autoconf releases. To workaround this issue, many ports hack the CONFIGURE_TARGET variable so that it contains the ``--build='' prefix. To solve this issue, under the fact that some ports still have configure script generated by the old autoconf, we use runtime detection in the do-configure target so that the proper argument can be used. Changes to Mk/*: - Add runtime detection magic in bsd.port.mk - Remove CONFIGURE_TARGET hack in various bsd.*.mk - USE_GNOME=gnometarget is now an no-op Changes to individual ports, other than removing the CONFIGURE_TARGET hack: = pkg-plist changed (due to the ugly CONFIGURE_TARGET prefix in * executables) - comms/gnuradio - science/abinit - science/elmer-fem - science/elmer-matc - science/elmer-meshgen2d - science/elmerfront - science/elmerpost = use x86_64 as ARCH - devel/g-wrap = other changes - print/magicfilter GNU_CONFIGURE -> HAS_CONFIGURE since it's not generated by autoconf Total # of ports modified: 1,027 Total # of ports affected: ~7,000 (set GNU_CONFIGURE to yes) PR: 126524 (obsoletes 52917) Submitted by: rafan Tested on: two pointyhat 7-amd64 exp runs (by pav) Approved by: portmgr (pav) Notes: svn path=/head/; revision=218938
