versions 9.1.3, 9.0.7, 8.4.11 and 8.3.18.
Users of pg_dump, users of SSL certificates for validation or users of triggers
using SECURITY DEFINER should upgrade their installations immediately. All
other database administrators are urged to upgrade your version of PostgreSQL

The port uses the new postgresql ports' layout and is split into a
server and a client part. The following knobs can be used by ports
depending on PostgreSQL:
# USE_PGSQL - Add PostgreSQL client dependency.
# If no version is given (by the maintainer via the port or
# by the user via defined variable), try to find the
# currently installed version. Fall back to default if
# necessary (PostgreSQL-7.4 = 74).
# DEFAULT_PGSQL_VER
# - PostgreSQL default version. Can be overridden within a port.

# - Maintainer can set an arbitrary version of PostgreSQL by

* The compiler in -CURRENT now complains if you precede -I/usr/include
with -I... . The same applies to -I/usr/lib .
* The distribution's configure file treats the compiler's unexpected
warning message as a failure and errors out.
