In order to use Open MPI, you make the following additions to your
PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH variables:

    PATH		%%PREFIX%%/%%MPIDIR%%/bin
    LD_LIBRARY_PATH	%%PREFIX%%/%%MPIDIR%%/lib

Failure to do so will result in bizarre command failures.
